Loyalty sale: Neve pecking order? Favs?

I'm trying to decide which of the Neve plugins are essential for the loyalty sale.

1. Neve Dynamics Collection
2. Neve 1081 / 1081SE Classic Console EQ
3. Neve 31102 Classic Console EQ

UNISON
4. Neve 88RS Channel Strip Collection
5. Neve 1073 Preamp & EQ Collection
6. Neve 1084 Preamp & EQ
7. Neve Preamp (1290 module)

I can't get them all. I want the Dynamics Collection for sure.
Are any of them problematic?

Which UAD-2 Neve plugs do you still pull up in 2024?
Opinions, critiques, thoughts much appreciated :)

problematic in what way?

FWIW, 1081 and 31102 are no longer part of Ultimate, which probably means they will never be ported to UADx, at least in their MkI form. 88rs is ultra clean, and a swiss army knife, I use it all the time. The rest imparts much more ‘character/color’ if that is your thing. 1290 is just the 1073 preamp part, IIRC, incidentally.

1084 is amazing for the eq, but of course it takes a TON of DSP. 31102 is the easy alternative there. If you use unison, I'd get the 1084 because you'll have the neve pre. Other than that I don't care about unison

The dynamics are cool so that's a good pick.

And again the 1081 is one I really like to eq all types of guitars. Can be cool on vocals too although I don't use it (but I have Chandler LTD-1s which have similar eq points)

The 88RS is a real workhorse. and the 1084 offer more frequency choices as the 1073.

The dynamics collection is a must have.

The 1081... In its current form I would pass on it. But if it was a mkII it would be my first choice.

1081 still sounds great even without the non-lins. One of my first choices on guitars also. There are plenty of saturation options if you need to add that.. My number one wish for a Mark II.....especially with a larger interface that I can actually read.

Thanks so much everyone.

My "problematic" question was asking if any of them have issues on some machines
like the TubeTech CL1-B mkII does with dropouts, errors freezing etc.

Your responses are really helpful! For now, for me, I think Dynamics, 1084 and 88RS will be great.
It sounds like the older ones have some aliasing as seen in ol' Plugin Doctor. No worries.

Thanks again for your sincere replies! Truly appreciated!

Yes the GUI is too small indeed.

I would wish for different units to be modeled too: 1081 and 1093.

Ah yeah, that one was great. Loved that ABC compariso.
Man, I miss those Office hours back then.
yeah, I knew I did the deep dive on the DFC, but I totally forgot that I did that channelstrip comparison.

Same here. I was always under a lot of pressure to come up with all the cool stuff to demo, but it was super fun.
