Now UA could go the full step and add a "Hide and deactivate" command to the menu? 😅

I used to download the file for new Luna updates to save in case of problems. I don't see a way to do that any more, I can only update Luna from UA Connect or Luna itself. Is it still possible to just download the file?

I was wondering the same thing,
All LUNA download pages on the UA website lead to UA Connect now.

I suspect Drew can provide the answer. He’s the man.

Save the old Luna fille somwehere as say LunaX. Then you can delete the new Luna and revert back by replacing LunaX as Luna

Thanks, but I don’t have the old file, I can’t find the download files on UA’s website anymore. I’ve only been able to upgrade in Luna or UA Connect.

It's not there! That link takes you to a page that says download it in UA Connect. They used to be there but haven't been for the last few versions.

Yes. That's why I said, you can get the old versions there. For the new, just use connect and rename the file as suggested above before you update to the next version.

No, the old versions are NOT there! Take a look and tell me that you see them there. I know you’re trying to help but the old versions are not there.

Is Luna ATR 102 extension is broken too? Or is it just me? They fixed the side chain issue though. Sometimes I am also not able to "Undo"

There was a time when i was looking forward with joy into the next update. Always made LUNA better. But now I am scared to update for 2 reasons.
1. what is it they fixed and there are so many things UA don't talk about then they fix it and hope nobody noticed.
2. i am constantly mixing new and older projects, some take a while in between recording and mixing. there never really is the right moment to update, but LUNA needs to be updated cause its still running behind its potential. but then again I have to deal with bugs and mistakes UA does. what in some cases fucks up my mixes or the workflow you just got used to.

on the plus side is that UA wants to be everybody darling and flushes the scene with deals and created a big mess for their only 1 or 2 person costumer support. so now we not only dealing with the mess but also wait for 2 or 3 weeks to get information.

here we are again the BETA testers of someones gamble.

no, not happy with UA.

So dramatic.

PT and Logic both go through update cycles too. Welcome to recording with software.
Hit the update button, then go to sleep.. when you wake, poof, you will be updated!
It really isn't that difficult.

Not sure I understand the beta testers comment at all.
UA has been very up-front about the status of LUNA since it was released. (Including the shortcomings)

If needed though, you can always go back to mixing in PT or whatever DAW you previously mixed on.. then migrate to LUNA if/when you think it has reached a more stable place.
One again, it really isn't that difficult.

UUUh yeah Mansplaining seems to be your thing. Good luck with it! Also if you not sure what you understand, just don't spew your opinion into the world.
