Luna and Mac M2/3 Efficiency Cores

The whole "DAW using efficiency cores = optimised" is a fallacy IMO.

The whole point of NOT using the efficiency cores while a DAW is cracking down on the high performance ones is to keep the OS and the DAW alive in the background.

The performance gain would be minuscule in comparison, and the system would become unresponsive in return.

So a properly optimised DAW is optimised exactly because it is NOT using the efficiency cores, and not the other way around.

I don't believe it does at this time. Google DAW Mac studio test someone did a whole chart with M1,2 and 3 and found that almost all daws don't take advantage of the efficiency cores.....if I remember correctly (and I could be wrong) it was only Reaper that did at this time....
Which is why Reaper is at least 50% more CPU efficient across the board....

AFAIK and what I have seen in the CPU meter thing of the OS, Luna does not fully use the E cores (M2 Max).
Reaper and Cubase use all cores. Reaper for sure.
