Luna Issue with Bogren Ampknob and Bassknob plugins?

I purchased Bogren's Ampknob and Bassknob today and immediately began recording in Luna with them on a current project. After several hours of tracking with no issues at all, Luna began freezing on playback and throwing the error -38 code. I know periodically I've had random issues with this code showing up but it always resolves itself by the next day somehow. The playback issue is however something new for me. Regarding the -38 code, I have newer cables and I've also checked to see if something is loose. Just wondering if anyone has purchased these plugins from Bogren and/or had similar issue's with 3rd party in Luna.
