LUNA recording and Inserts in Console

I was wondering, let’s say I have track with preamp and compressor inserted in console. If I press recording button in LUNA, does LUNA also record what comes from the inserts that we see in console even if the track in on mute in console?

The preamp and anything in the top slots will. The lower slots are playback/mixing.

Yes it will. Whatever is in Console's Inserts when you rec enable the track will be placed in the Rec FX slots.

This and how you have your pre/post fade settings configured in Console will also determine whether Mute applies when trying to record or not. My inputs are muted all the time in Console but record into my DAW without issue.

In general, I HIGHLY recommend that 99.9% of users simply ignore Console when using LUNA.

There is no need for it.
