Mac High Sierra w/UAD 2 firewire

I recently purchased a UAD 2 Satellite Quad.
It downloaded the latest version and is running perfectly.
My question is how do I add new plugins or is that possible?
I tried to purchase some but I got a prompt that said I needed 10.15 OS on my Mac.

  • Which exact model Mac?
  • macOS Sierra is fairly old at this point...it is version 10.12
  • The current version of UAD requires macOS 10.15 Catalina or later
  • UAD FireWire devices aren't compatible/supported with anything after macOS 10.15 Catalina
You would need to upgrade to macOS 10.15.x Catalina on your Mac if possible, which would support the latest v11.1 for Apollo & UAD Accelerators (including FireWire UAD devices).

So I'm not able to purchase any other plugins? I have 10.13.6. I have the latest download from UA on my computer.
I saw somewhere you can use v 9.14.5 go UA?

Open the UAD Meter and click the button and authorize for all devices and your device should be authorized for your system.

They are there for what naturally come with this unit. However, I would like to purchase more plugins. I even see all the demos that I can try and they work on my computer. Can I purchase with this unit and have them download to the UAD 2?

any that are in your account should be available to that device as long as its registered to your account.
