Macbook not reading Apollo Twin

I am ready to throw my laptop. Ive never had any issues with my macbook and apollo twin until now. I went to use Pro Tools and noticed my Apollo Twin isnt being recognized by my macbook. The UAD Meter and Control Panel continues to say 'connect ua device' even though it's plugged in.

Below are the things Ive tried so far.

- Deleting and re installing ALL uaudio files.
- Upgrading to the latest version of the Uaudio software
- Upgrading from Big Sur to Ventura os
- Buying a new thunderbolt cable and a new adapter for it

It seems no matter what I do my MacBook just wont recognize my apollo twin being plugged in. The macbook port seems okay considering my charger works fine. I tried opening a ticket a week ago and havent gotten a response and am ready to just give up. I have no idea what could have changed and why it wont work all of a sudden. Has anyone else had this issue or know how to fix it?

thanks again...truly appreciate the responses.

I tried that as well and it didnt seem to make a difference. I deleted the ua files and reinstalled and now the Allow button isnt there so Im not sure if not allowing access after reinstalling is the issue. I am currently re installing Big Sur to then try and reinstall the UA software to see if the allow button re appears.

Actually...just got the message saying I cant install Big Sur since I am running a newer version. At this point I am ready to just ditch my apollo and look into a different interface as the Apollo customer service is absolutely terrible and this issue is impeding my ability to work.

Just looked at the ticket. Twin USB is PC only.

This is your issue.

thanks for the reply. And since when? ive been using the twin on my Macbook for the past 4 years. I dont believe mine is USB. Its possible I selected Twin usb when opening the ticket but that would have been my mistake. Any way to assist a bit further?

The Twin you show in the photo is an MKII which is TB2. It should work. Maybe access your ticket through your UA account and add the info that it is indeed a TB device.

If you do a detailed OS system report, what is it showing as attached to your TB ports? If it doesn’t show up there, it may be a HW issue.

yeah, ticket said USB.

Please fix if it's not.

And I still suspect the cable.

Thanks. I just tried that and it says no hardware found when I click on thunderbolt/usb4.

Hey have you found a solution to this? I am experiencing the exact same thing and am losing my mind. However, mine shows up in my OS report, saying a device is connected to thunderbolt port. It doesn't however show up in the PIC region... really need help
