Mastering with UAD & Izotope?

Hi all. I'm pretty new to mastering and could use some advice from those who have used Izope. Which Izotope functions do you wind up using vs UAD plugins?

I know about the mastering bundle, but I don't have the cash for anything else right now and need to use what I already have. I own Izotope, 2 UAD cards, the standard plugins plus the 1176LN, LA2A, Cambridge EQ, Fairchild and Dreamverb.

What works for you in terms of mastering EQ, compression/limiting, reverb, exciter, etc? Izotope sounds pretty good, but the exciter seems to add a lot of harshness on the high end.

I'm working mostly with hard rock these days.

Thanks!

From Izotope i only use the Multiband Stereo Imaging. Nothing else.

Just for the record my mastering sequence is :

Fairchild 670
Helios 69
Ozone 3 Multiband Stereo Imaging
Precision Limiter

Great - thanks for the responses. I'll give these combos a try!

And I should have said Ozone instead of Izotope.

Is a multi-band compressor necessary at the mastering stage if you've been compressing individual instruments?

I tried Ozone3 demo last year, but I don't buy it yet because it's not fit for my sound.
I always use P-Limiter, P-EQ, and sometimes P-Multiband comp on master.
