Melodyne Studio vs Editor

To those who have studio, how much of a time saver is it being able to work on all the tracks at once? Is it worth the upgrade?

It was a huge time saver for me. Very well worth the upgrade. There's annual discount for all Melodyne upgrades going on so you may take an advantage of it now.

I had editor for quite a while, thinking the extra features in studio weren't worth it... well I bought the upgrade as part of the sale and I have to say it is totally worth it. The ability to edit all of the vocal parts in one Melodyne session is amazing, especially when you are doubling vocals. You can match the pitch as well as the cutoff of the vocals by layering them on top of each other. It's fantastic. Also the "sound editor" is not really clear on the site (probably is in the manual), but it's basically a vocal EQ, but it breaks down the vocal into its harmonics and shows them as the notes. So you can very precisely EQ a vocal and tame harsh overtones and things like that. Highly recommended.

that's what got me. it is worth that to me.

For me it was definitely worth the upgrade price because it does save time. Also, you can place Melodyne on a guitar track for example and have it play along with the vocals for timing purposes. Going from one track to another is very easy and quick when editing.
