Memory Problem!! Help

Hi,

I have 3 UAD-1 cards, pc-dl deluxe +Bi Xeon 2,4 + 4 GIG kingston ddr400

-my Firt problem is:
when i start my Pc without UAD-1 = 3,4 GIG (memory)
with 1 card = 3,2 GIG
with 3 cards 2,8 GIG

-my Second problem is:
i have 2 cards with 2dll and 4mega
and one (old studio project) only 1dll et 2Meg ????
i don t understand why?? i tried all config in the bios...

The same with my system: 4 Gb Ram installed, with 3 UADs, 1 poco and 2 grafic cards only 1,7 Gb remain for windows :twisted:
I wish I would understand things better to be able to improve that. I assume it's gonna be better with a 64 bit OS one day...

Michael, have you changed your boot.ini file? You need to modify it in order to make Windows recognise more than 2GB.

denixx, I assume you must have already modified your boot.ini file. Try changing your 'userva' value to 2800 or 2900 and see how it works.

Click here and follow steps 7-11.

Depending on what host you're using, you may have to follow the earlier steps, too, changing 'Nuendo3.exe' with your host application.
