Monitor Input with YouTube/Instagram using Google Chrome

I have no idea when this started happening. However, when I grab audio from YoutTube/Instagram the input MON L/R recording has been severely lowered using any Apollo hardware into ProTools. I've tried troubleshooting using different browsers, Apollo Solo, Apollo Quad via Thunderbolt.

When I record using an app like Audio Hijack the Audio it grabs the audio at it's highest quality. I don't understand why this happens with these specific websites/apps. I played a song off the laptop (same computer Apollo is connected too) and it's fine.

This started randomly happening and I can't figure out why!

I'm using Mac OSX.

It's very strange, when I use Audio Hijack using my MacBook Pro speakers it plays at it's regular volume, but when using the Apollo it lowers it.

Try sending your system audio to a virtual stereo channel in console via Audio MIDI settings (configure speakers)
Set the Virtual channel as input in Pro Tools.

See if this issue persists in Brave.
