I generally use the Lame192 encoding for my web site's MP3s. However, it seems like many people with slower connections (or older PCs) have trouble listening to streamed versions (with M3U's.) I've tried using variable encoding but some listeners -still- *witch*.
HOWEVER, these same listeners claim that they have no trouble with the M3Us at Artistlaunch or Soundclick.
Can someone give me some insight on how -they- do it? Or, rather, how I -should- encode MP3s for maximum compatibility with various internet connections?
THANKS!
