Well after playing with the PMB a lot I must say I am very happy about this new plugin.

My \"mastering\" chain tends to be Fairchild>LA-2A>PMB>PEQ>PLIM

using each compresser just a bit. The PMB definately does something to change the spacial sound field and can give more depth or 3d like quality.

I really wish I new how to use it better, but I did get it so sound really excellent in a sublte way. I would highly recommend buying this plugin!

(of course really looking forward to space echo)

IMHO I would be very careful about giving the PMB attributes like that of old vintage tube-gear, cause in reality that isn't what it does. I think that what you're hearing is just maybe that it fixes a few problems in your mix that make the whole thing sound more like it should, giving it a more controlled spectral balance. A multi-band if anything in itself tends to muddy things up and make stuff undefined, narrowing the stereo image etc... (that is of course if you would have something perfect to start with)

I love the PMB though, I've used it on quite a number of things already.
