I have a somewhat rather larger writing session that I am wanting to export multi-tracks and or stems from to send to some band members. However the session keeps freezing after it went through the entire render process and stops at a new random time stamp of Export Mixdown - blah blah : 273.1 sec remain and is just frozen there. I assumed initially that maybe this extra time was the DAW actually writing the files to my drive but it doesn't seem to be the case. I only assumed that because the multi track files in the folder I am sending them to say 94.4 MB (or whatever) but is 0:00 in length, though the entire length of the session is selected for export.
Now, I figured it was due to the session not being cleaned up, had a lot of random tracks not consolidated from session start, none of my tracks aside from some VST instruments were frozen. So I went through consolidated all of the track files from session start and froze all of the tracks and the render screen is still freezing and not finishing the export.
Now for the Freezing issue. While trying to troubleshoot this I froze my guitar tracks and then froze the guitar bus just for more options. However when I unfroze the guitar bus for some reason all of the plugins on that bus stayed frozen and didn't pass any audio. I found a work around by duplicating the bus and rerouting my guitars to the new Gtr Bus Duplicate but was still odd and wanted to mention it.
Sorry for the long post but if anyone has any idea as to why this multitrack export is giving me so many issues I am all ears.
