OK, I have a POD 2.0. Also a Behringer POD wannabe, a Sansamp gt-2, A direct recording out from my Mesa Formula Pre etc. So far they have all worked for me.
I recently purchased the Zoom G2. Nice, Nice and Very nice is what I have to say about it. The 24/96 makes for a seriously nice harmonizer, reverbs, delays, wah, Flange, phase shifther - yadayadayada. It does it all and very well too.
Anyone else get one of these? I recommend it highly. I am having a blast with it and I'll be recording my first track with it soon. It is also good for live too although I'm going to use mine strictly for recording (My Mesa rig is awesome for what I play live). I plugged it into my amp and bypassed the cab/mic emulator. Bottom line - Get one.
