My UAD plugins have all disappeared after someone used a guest laptop (a new macbook) with my apollo 16 mk2 at my studio

A friend used his new macbook with ableton (I usually use Pro Tools) at my studio yesterday and now all of my plugins (over 80) are no longer showing up, like they were never purchased. I put in a support request - ticket number #811084

This is quite odd as the authorization for plugins is stored on your Apollo. Does it (and all your plugins) still show in your account on the site?

It's weird because my account on the site has basically no info on it. No hardware, no plugins, nothing. I've been using this apollo since 2021.

Support aims for 48-72 hr response times, and they do not work weekends so look for a reply within that time frame.

He's a pretty close friend that sublets my studio once a week. An odd thing has been happening after he uses his laptop where I'll have to reauthorize plugins occasionally via the meter and control panel. But this time they are all just gone

Did you buy this Apollo used? Is it possible you were using the previous owners plugs and now you've actually registered it into your account and only see Analog Classics?

I did buy it used through a vendor on reverb but the deal was that the plugins would all be transferred. That was like 4 years ago

Gotcha. It's entirely possible that didn't happen. Support will get it all sorted.
