Native plug ins that emulate UAD?

Well, I just tried the same project that always crashes with ERR=21, Still does. Project is flawless with DX. I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that this problem will never be fixed. The only response I have seen is from Ron K(thanks!)at Cakewalk but even that response seemed like he had just become aware that there was a problem after what, a year of complaints? I suspect that Cakewalk is working on Mac stuff and UAD is engineering a new card. They sure seem to be working on other stuff!! So, I am probably going to sell the UAD.
Any suggestions on what native plug ins could replace say the LA2A, Plate 140 and Pultec?

I'm looking strongly at moving to Sonar (had it with Cubase - unless SX4 is unbelievable) and after loading the uad-1 into a friends rig the err-21 thing was most annoying. Add that to the fact that PCI slots are disappearing and a magma is costwise totally out of the question - I know they are on ebay but getting them to New Zealand is another matter, i'm upgrading the PC soon and it looks like an X2 is the most cost effective at the moment.
So I set about getting hold of some demo's to replace UAD plugs and here is what I used-
URS A & N series and Fulltec eq's (liked these plugs the most)
Sonalksis essentials plug-ins (can't wait to try the gate)
PSP VintageWarmer, MasterComp, MasterQ, Easyverb
It was a pain in the butt using some of the plugs cos of the sound cuts (PSP, I own the EasyVerb & VW -always been a goto on drums), Sonalksis have a 30 day trial and i'm not to fussed about the iLok, but the end result was a mix I was really happy with. They also co-operate well with Sonar as well.

Happy trialing!

I also posted a similar message in the Sonar User Froum and got a response from Ron Kuper at Cakewalk. He said I should hang in there a little while, Cakewalk and UA are working on the problem. The statement came today, which happens to be a Saturday. This kind of response will keep me using Sonar. If push comes to shove, the UAD will go.

Fulltec can be a nice alternative to Pultec but it's not a replacement. It seems you'd have better luck getting impulses off the Pultec & Plate than finding native replacements at this point.

Similarly, the Sonalksis compressor is a fantastic alternative to the LA2A but they don't have much in common. AFAIK, the URS compressors don't model opto circuits. Voxengo's Marquis is also good. Part of what makes the UAD LA2A & 1176LN so special, IMO, is how naturally they saturate. It's unmatched by most compressors, hardware or software.
