I just wanted to say that over time, I've been going more and more to this EQ... it seems to have the best \"sound\". I don't feel like it degrades my original sound as much as a lot of plugins do - it's just a great EQ. They did a really amazing job on this one.

I definitely think it's a more \"subtractive\" EQ than an \"additive\" though. Pulling out the frequencies you don't want tends to sound better than adding the ones you do.

There aren't too many digital EQ's I feel comfortable boosting with. However, the 1073, Pultec, Oxford, & Duende are all great for this.

I think in general, I like to cut frequencies rather than boost them, even with hardware. Something about it just sounds better to me.
