Thank you so much UA for the Neve bundle! This bundle is a God send! Its plugs like these that help to make all studios equal- whether virtual or hardware. When ever i use these plugs they bring a smile to my face, and aid in letting me know that tools are no longer my problem when music don't turn out right :) . It's great to have such high-quality at ones disposal. Great job!

It's time for you to get a C451, in that case. ;)

Yes the Neve plugs rock in terms of sound but I find their arse-about-tit controls and displays as confusing as feck.

What we need is a \"skins pack\", so we can have simpler (numerical!) displays should we want them! What would be there to stop you having a GUI that looks like a cambridge, for example?

+ one more here.

The other day I had a dream, like the kind of dream I used to have when I was a kid and would fabricate a toy I got for christmas that didn't even exist.

I dreamt that UA had come out with a series of midi controllers that looked like the original hardware and in my dream, they had released the 1073, Fairchild and Pultec rack controllers. I'm pretty sure this dream came about because I can't controll the plugin parameters in PT using my Mackie MCU, which would make the whole thing perfect for me, but whatever, the sound of these plugs are worth using my crappy mouse.

What I want is simpler. The same, but BIGGER GUI.
Agreed...
I know what's there but...
That shit is just too hard to read.
My eyes are getting worse as I get older by my skills are growing.
Make a bigger GUI or at least a legible one.
You want the GUI bigger?? That's easy! (No shit) If you have a scroll wheel mouse, just hold down the control key while you scroll in. Zooms in the window as far as you want. Works on Mac, not sure about PC.

Doesn't work on a PC I'm afraid.

And it's not just the size of the controls that's problematic- it's the "logic" of their layout and their function (especially with the Neves) - eg to turn a function ON, I have to select it so that its light goes OFF. WTF?

Very confusing, especially when you've "had a few".
