I am totally hyped that there aren't any licensing issues, as many of you assumed.
So I keep my hopes up high, that we have the 1073 soon!

Our man in the middle, Drew, just answered this in another thread:

"We've just not added it yet."

I think there's a licensing issue for sure.

For example, they had it native on spark but can't sell it individually.

I am still finding out which preamp, channelstrip and master buss compressor I should use.
The API Vision and API 2500 sound nice. But so does SSL and many people love the NEVE stuff...

Use your ears and choose what you like best. Don‘t use any plugin or whatever, just because the majority, some famous superstar producer or your favorite artist use it, too.

Yes! I just recently began using different summing per project and per bus, depending on how it sounds in each situation.

When I first learned about summing, I picked Neve and used it on every instrument and vocal bus everywhere. Now I take time to listen to Neve, API and 'no summing' on each bus, then select one of those 3 options. I have only just begun messing with overhead, trim and impedance. This is not my 4-track cassette recorder any more...
