new dual core AMD 4200+ with 2 cards working great

Hello all. I just wanted to post my new system that arrived today. It seems to be working fine with 2 UAD-1 cards installed. I am running Pro Tools 7.0 using the VST-RTAS ver. 2 wrapper. So far I have only tested it with my Mbox 2. I still need to install the firewire PCI card to try it with my 002 but so far, its working beautifully. The case is amazing. The only noise that comes from it is the access noise of the hard drives(and optical drive when used). No fans, only heat pipes.

Mine is working too

Just to let you know, I had to remove my firewire pci card (LaCie FW800) and install a Sunix pci-express firewire card so that the RME fireface would not be on the same pci buss as the UAD card. After I made that switch everything worked great.

Yeah, I had read of some having to do this. I was prepared to get a PCIe for the firewire but, I installed the PCI card and everthing seems fine. I have the first UAD-1 card that I purchased many years ago in slot 1, the Siig firewire card next, and the second UAD-1 card that I purchased about a month ago in the 3rd PCI slot. Everything is working great so far. I have tested the UADs up to 85% without any problems. The next thing I want to add is a PCI express SATA II card for more hard drives.

By the way, I did apply the Windows XP SP2 Dual Core Performance Hot Fix. I did not need the processor filter thing. And my 002 is working fine on the PCI firewire card.
