New G5 old uad card

Hi I'm new,

I just bought a dual 2.0 g5 but now I have to upgrade my motu card and now I'm not sure if I should install my uad card.. It's seems like it might fit but the uad card is from like 2 years ago..

P.S What's this POCO everyone keeps talking about

my old uad card worked in the dual 2.5 just fine. you should have no trouble.

thank you!! OK eventhough the card has space on the slot.. You know how it locks into the socket.. there is a little section where it has no circuit.. I wish i could explain better.. It looks like the card will fit but there is a gap in a certain area...

I got my UAD-1 card when they first came out, what, like 3 years ago... or more. Fits and works fine in my G5.

We didn't \"force\" ours in either. UA fully supports that it works... and fits.

I also have one of the older Mackie branded UAD-1 cards and it is fine in my G5.

Thanks guys... I have to trade in my motu 424 pci card... one out of two isn't bad.

In fact, there are no NEW or OLD card.....

No matter Mackie bundle, Project Pak even Studio Pak...

It's all the SAME card with same DSP ....

Maybe it's time to develop a 2nd generation UAD card with more power
