New PC with PCIe

Hi,

I'm about to take the plunge and get myelf a new MoBo, CPU and RAM. I have considered going fully PCIe but the one thing stopping me is my UAD cards, they're PCI and one of them is a Mackie distributed card (i.e. LA-2A and 1176LN come as standard, gratis).

Does anyone know if UA have a provision for crossgrading a Mackie card? I'd hate to have to buy them when I already have them.

Cheers,
Peter

I up/crossgraded through JRRshop.com.

You will get to keep any plugs that you have now. Including the mackie ones. And the mackie card plugs will go to whomever gets the mackie card as well. Since you get to keep the plugs, I recommend not selling the card for more... it's old and has got a smaller heat sink anyway... heh.

The guys at JRRshop will treat you well and the UA transfer process is fairly easy. It takes a small amount of time (5 minutes or less) on your part to register your new card that you trade up to on the uaudio.com site, and then JRRshop will have them de-register (only dealers can do this I believe) your old card so they can sell it.
