New to Luna - Have a Few Questions

Hello,

I downloaded the free Luna offer a few weeks ago and I am very impressed with some aspects of it so far. I would like to unlock and explore more to get the most out of it, but I am a little confused about how purchases work. From within LUNA I looked into the API Vision Console Emulation bundle, but this is not available to me as I am not using any applicable UA hardware. Attempts to purchase give an error.

I own a TwinFinity 710 and I own a few UAD Native plugins, mostly compressors (LA 2A, 1176, dbx 160)... Pultec EQ collection, and a few others, but none are the API desk emulations. I purchased the Essentials bundle at some point, so that's basically the extent of my UA plugin collection, since there was some overlap with other UA Native plugins I already had.

That said, I am wondering what the best upgrade path is?
I read through the forum looking for some insight and what I think I understand is that if you own certain individual plugins, there are LUNA extensions that essentially unlock them in the DAW without the need to own the hardware, is this correct?

If so, I was looking at the UAD Signature Edition bundle... and hoping this would unlock the extensions.
My understanding is that the extensions are what provide the benefit of skipping the usual floating plugin windows and general clutter that we're all used to.

Some other information that might be worth mentioning:
*I currently use Ableton Live primarily - and sometimes Logic or Cubase. I would be migrating from this headspace
*I am using SSL UF8, UF1, and UC1 control surfaces and own most of the SSL plugin family - and appreciate the hardware workflow
*Mac Studio M1 Max on Ventura with 64 GB RAM
*My audio interface in an RME

Thanks in advance for any tips or insights you can offer

I think the best option would be to get the LUNA Pro Bundle. That will give you the API console emulation & API summing as well as the fantastic Ampex ATR-102. I think that's the only way to get the Ampex at this point unless you have an UA Apollo interface, which you apparently also still need to get the NEVE summing.

Welcome to LUNA!
I’m really digging it. Made it fun to work on music again after a long hiatus!
