New to UAD Console - Monitor volume control does not change headphone volume

When I record vocals from UA Sphere DLX through Analog 1/2 of my Apollo Twin X, the output sounds great into my DAW, and I can hear my live mic in my headphones plugged into the Apollo headphones jack. But I was hoping to adjust some volume control for output just to the headphones without changing the volume being recorded on the DAW. I thought this would be the console's monitor knob in the lower left - or the big knob on top of the twin in monitor mode. But no, this concept of monitor perhaps means some other output.

Can I just change the volume to my headphones plugged into the Appollo's front headphone jack - without changing output to the DAW?

Yes, push the "Monitor" button on the front panel of your Twin to switch from Monitor to Headphone control.

That worked! I love this hardware, plugins, history, and support! I took the 9 [?] video series on the intro to LUNA but had not found a beginner's guide to Console—thank you for the link as well.
