Anyone know if this chipset is working with the UAD?

OR what known problems there are.

Hey LEX,

It works for me with two UAD cards, but I use a FW audio card hooked on a PCI Express FW card so that UADs have the legacy PCI bus to themselves. I still get some host CPU spikes when both UADs and host CPU are heavily loaded (over 90% for UADs, 70% and up for host CPU) though. Not a big issue for me as I don't tax my host CPU past 50% these days, but still... it's not perfect. I have no IRQ sharing whatsoever in this system, btw.

Using legacy PCI audio card (Terratec EWX 24/96 and E-MU 1820m) I was able to get good results using one UAD card. Couldn't get rid of the crackles using both no matter what I did. YMMV with RME.

Cheers,

Franjo
