3.9 support of track freeze in Logic

Because 3.9 will now offer compatability with Logic's track freeze, thus freeing up the DSP on the UAD-1 when a track is frozen, would this not be another option of addressing the performance issue with the AMD 8131? If so, that would be a satisfactory workaround for me until the issue is sorted out. Please let me know if I am either reading the webzine article wrong, or if I'm mistaken in my conclusion. Thanks

Yes it is, as these plugins are released (once you have 3.9) when frozen. The same goes for Cubase/Nuendo owners if you freeze audio plugins, you also have released resources.
