So did a session tonight, where I was just overdubbing a single vocal against about 8 tracks of audio.
24 /48 khz
Tested everything before hand, and all seemed like it was fine...at least on input.
That was until the artist showed up...
Then when the vocal track was armed, either in input or while recording, there was NO OUTPUT from that track~!
And this was with the "arm" selected in Luna.
And then it would come back, every now and again?
Just to make it clear, if I wanted to playback audio from the new vocal track, it COULD NOT BE IN RECORD READY,
I had to take it out of RECORD, to have previous recorded audio playback, then highlight the record button and then HIT RECORD to punch in o that track.
Then to listen back to what we just took, I would have to disarm the track to hear it???
So I shut down (twice) and rebooted, shut all of the Apollo interfaces down and started again, just to have the same thing happen again, and again.
It was random.
And literally ruined the session, as I couldn't give the vocalist a consistent output from Luna...
Now this isn't the first time this hs happened to me, but it has been a few years since the last time this occurred?
Any thoughts?
