No Plug-In Graphics?

I just loaded my new UAD-1 card (Ultra Pak) and software onto my 2.5gig G5. Everything seemed to load smoothly - everything is authorized, UA meter working, etc etc....

After loading the software/hardware and launching DP for the first time, it scanned all the plug-ins and said they were fine and loaded. I open up a session in DP4.6 and insert a UA plug-in, but no graphics show up.... I have tried rebooting the system a couple of times. Not sure what else to try.

Seems like a very straight forward set up, so not sure what I could be missing. Anyone have an idea?

Is the track assigned to an out??? Only thing I can think of.

If it is an aux track is an input assigned???

4.6 wobnt show graphics on an aux without an assigned input.

It's an insert on a track that IS assigned to an output...

It's not an aux track.

Guess I'll have to call tech support Tues...

Just for giggles have you tried DP 4.61??????

Ive found that the 'solo exempt' feature on Aux tracks will stop graphics loading...If you check it (or uncheck it-i cant remember!?) youll get your graphics back.

Sorry for the delay in getting back.... I did nothing different other than let time go by and reboot my system probably 4 or 5 times over the last few days and now magically it works....

I did notice though that it made a major audo burst soon before it started working... fortunately I had my volume down.

Seems like I read a post about mysterious loud bursts coming from the card somewhere on this forum.

Anyway, I'm just glad it works - works without a hitch....
