No Volume on certain tracks

I have been experiencing an issue with LUNA lately, possibly a bug...i will play my mix and everything sounds fine...then i make a few adjustments and play it again and one or more of the tracks will not output any volume. First I thought I had muted the channel by mistake but couldn't find any such issue. I restarted LUNA and it worked fine. Now it's happening quite frequently. Restart is the only thing that fixes it. In my particular session, I have had this issue with my main VOX track. The track has Summing, Tape and a few other UAD inserts such as 1176/LA2A/API CS. I have also had this issue with SHAPE (instrument) track a few times. For that, I got around with Freezing the track.

BTW I realized this also happens if I play the mix (without making any changes) after taking a few minutes break. Prior to the break, everything works. I come back after the break and play it again and the Vox track has no volume again. Restart fixes it again.

Anyone else experience this?

Wondering if anyone can provide any insight on how to troubleshoot this. This is happening more and more often for me. Sometimes one or more tracks will stop outputting any sound (even though the meters are showing). Sometimes, the entire mix won't play any output.

Yesterday, I did a mixdown and it came out with zero audio. I restarted LUNA and without changing anything did the mixdown again and this time the audio was there in the mixdown file.

The good news is that everytime i experience this issue, a restart of LUNA fixes it but it's still a pain especially multiple times during the day.

P.S.: I tried trashing the preferences. That didn't do anything for me. LUNA and UAD are both updated to the latest versions. Issue exists before and after the updates.

After much debugging, I have figured out what the issue is. For some reason, LUNA is not working well with non-UAD plugins. So what happens is a 3rd party plugin will freeze and that track will not output any volume. I have this issue with Waves, Soundtoys, T-Racks, Plugin Alliance BX etc. If I click on that 3P plugin, it just shows a black window. If I restart LUNA, it fixes it (until the same happens again). Or if i move that plugin to another track and then immediately move it back (by dragging), it resolves itself.

Also, it happens when randomly as in a 3P plugin on Track 1 will do this. I fix that then after a while another 3P plugin on track 5 will do the same and so on and so forth.

Anyone know if this is a known issue? What is the process of submitting this issue to UAD?
