After backing things up last week, I decided to do a clean install on the Mac. That's not important, but the Apollo Solo isn't quite right and I'm not sure what I did wrong. Let's face it, it's not as simple as a driver/plug/use.
Here are the things that are different:
-Sonoma from Ventura. Actually I don't think that matters because pretty sure Ventura did that too.
-The recent UA update to the software version (11? )
-A microphone icon in the upper right of the Mac Taskbar that I needed to turn on to enable my guitar/bass input to work in Live (got a funny feeling that is part of it) This did not happen before the clean install.
My latency feels noticeable for some reason. It's now about 7.2 ms in Live vs. around 4.5 before. Still I shouldn't notice that, but it's strange like there is some setting that I'm forgetting. Sigh, I should have just left it alone
