Hi Everyone,
Been using UAD forever and love UAD's stuff. However, recently Console and the UAD meter stopped recognizing my Apollo and Octo satellite. These are (were) running on thunderbolt with the UA prescribed Startech adapter and Apple branded thunderbolt cables. The setup had been working flawlessly but after updating to v11 of the UAD software, my above mentioned items are not recognized by the console or the uad meter.
I am using a new HP Z G2 mini tower with the optional HP thunderbolt card, 32 gigs RAM and Intel Xeon processor.
Here is what I have tried:
Full uninstall and re-install per UA's directions. Did this twice and then rolled back to the previous version (didn't help).
Pulled the Apollo 8p from the rack, unhooked all wires and reset it as per UA instructions. Also did this twice.
Checked the HP's thunderbolt info window to make sure the units were indeed actually recognized by the workstation and connected. They were.
Then I pulled it all out of the rack again (fun) and hooked it all up to a 2013 MacPro garbage can where it worked fine, so I assume there is no issue with the hardware.
As I previously stated, the HP workstation was running the setup with 0 problems until I updated the UAD software. There was no change to any HP settings nor was there a Microsoft update that could have f'ed it. Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas how I might fix it?
Also I hope I posted this in the right place.
