Older Apollo 8 Duo & Mac Mini M2 & PT

Greetings,

I've been using an older Apollo 8 Duo(Silverface Rack Mount) for years. It came Thunderbolt, I had to Firmware it to Firewire because I'm on an older Mac Pro.
I recently upped to PT 12.8 and OS 10.11.6. I get it, I'm still a fossil. All good, It's been really solid but I'm ready to keep going to the latest greatest version of PT and OS via a Mac Mini M2 but I want to keep using this interface. So I have to switch it back to Thunderbolt which brings me here:

I need some type of Thunderbolt adapter thing right? T3 to T2 adapter, is that the one. I guess I should ask this first, will my older Apollo 8 Duo work with a Mac Mini M2? Okay, hope that made sense. Thanks!

If it's a TB2 card in the Apollo. This and a TB2 cable will be good.

Later that year...all good here. I saw that maybe 11.4 UAD Software and earlier has a tab to switch to the "Legacy Console." There's some operator error stuff going on but I cannot find that. I uninstalled and installed v10.0 and the legacy Console is there of course but I'd like to be able to switch just so I can get used to the newer version. I'm on Sonoma 14.5 and Mac Mini M2. It's all working well either way. TIA!
