A little over a week ago I received a strange email from UA saying that I won their new Nevana X2 package for being a registered member! I've never won anything in my life, so I proceeded with caution. I received several emails from Joseph Lemmer at UA that appeared official, but you never know these days.
Sure enough UPS dropped of the UA DREAM PACKAGE!! I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Joseph and UA for running this promotion. I formerly had a UAD-1, but I was forced to sell the device because it didn't work with my motherboard. I was blown away by the quality of the effects, but it was a known motherboard incompatibility. I recently upgraded my system to an intel-based dual core setup with 4 pci-e slots. I installed the two beautiful pcie cards and I was up and running in seconds. I only dreamed of being able to buy the Neve based effects when I first had my UAD-1. This dual DSP setup is friggin unbelievable!! I fiddled for two hours in Sonar VII (software 4.8) with ZERO issues. The capacity is there to really pile on the effects. I just cannot say enough about this product so far!
I think it's fair to say that UA now has a customer for life! The karma police must have been keeping an eye on me!!
