Order with effects and OX Stamp. Before, or after ? :)

I would want to ask a question about the order of effect : before or after the OX STOMP ?
I tried both.

My reflexion is simple. Input left match to one mic et right for the second mic.
So stereo effects (like ping pong for example) don't be captured par the same mic but in fact with two differents sound then remix


I think it's beter to insert effect AFTER mic capture. Because after that, signal is stereo et mic are already mixed.Effect is apply in stereo on a already built signal.

In fact it's already that it be done INSIDE the OX with his own effects.

If you put a stereo pedal in front of the OX Stomp and want the stereo signal to go thru the OX Stomp you have to have both OX Stomp mics turned up.

Of course that's true but he wouldn't be asking if that was the answer he expected. When people ask questions like that they hope for answers that explain the reasons one might do it one way vs the other.
