OS14 & UA -- Is It Time?

Happy New Year, everyone

My Mac Studio has been nudging me to install OS14 for quite awhile now.

I usually defer big-number updates right out of the gate simply out of concern for "breaking stuff" in the DAW realm. Do you all have any opinion on whether or not it's time yet to take the plunge insofar as far as my Apollo x6 & (limited number of) UAD plugins are concerned?

what benefit would you be getting? if the answer is none (and it invariably is) then stay back.

If you must then do it at a time when you can afford something to go wrong (and it invariably does)…. case in point I HAD to upgrade a secondary machine for testing purposes the past week and spent most of a working day polishing off the rough edges.

PS: but someone will come around shortly (they invariably do), saying they have made the upgrade and all is well in their world, anecdotally.

I’m running 14.1.1 and current logic os on m1 mini, no probs with UA native plugs here.

I’m on Sonoma, but not by choice. However, everything is running without any issues on 14.2. Running both DSP and native in Logic Pro X 10.8.1.

I upgraded to Sonoma after Arturia gave the okay a couple/few weeks ago. No issues so far.

Thanks, everyone -- I really appreciate the benefit of collected wisdom & experience.

Still have inquiries out to a few other developer's forums to check about this; I'll wade in once I understand from them that the speed bumps should be negligible.

Btw Sweetwater has a page about software approved by os, might be better to check that ?
