without knowing your DAW or what you exactly intend to do, it might be hard to help you properly but I will assume you have a stereo track in your DAW and you want to use an external stereo compressor to enhance the result.

In such case, you should select the outs of the track to go to the LINES OUT 3-4 of the Twin, send this to the ins of your bus comp and send back the outs of your bus comp into the INPUTS 1-2 of your TWIN. In your DAW, create a stereo track and set the inputs to be INPUTS 1-2. record.

now, a few considerations:

1. a mistake in the setup and you could feedback so be careful with your speaker/headphone volume (set them to 0 and bring them slowly in to see if everything is fine

2. as I am assuming this is a stereo track of a mix song, no real need to delay compensate the daw out > comp in > comp out > daw in as the printed track will be the final result but if you want to do this for say a stem in a mix, you'll need to use a plugin that compensate for that or align your self the printed result afterward. In Logic Pro, you have a I/O plugin that makes it really easy

thank you for the reply
Sorry, that was vague. It is for a stereo track of a mix. I’m using Luna , and there isn’t a line 3-4 option. I realize I’m suppose to use the the 3/4 cues, but don’t know how to access them. maybe I’ll give it a try in Logic Pro
