OX recorded in daw, stereo track or 2 mono track?

I have uesd stereo trackand pan the microphones in the OX app
Is this the way to do it ?

it depends on the goal.

Some use OX to capture 2 mono mics on 2 mono tracks for blending at mix.

Some use OX's stereo room and therefore create the blend in OX's app and record to 1 stereo track.

Either works.

I use a stereo track in the daw and just leave the panning alone in ox. I will adjust the levels if I want to hear more or less of a particular mic or the room.
