ox stomp send return question

I bought an OX Stomp to pair it with an HX STOMP. Do I need a Y cable to set it up in stereo?

If you intend on putting the ox stomp in the effects loop of the HX stomp then you need the Y cord. You could just run from output of HX => Ox Stomp wtih seperate cables for left and right but you won't be able to insert any post cab effects.

I use the HX STOMP as my audio interface so I guess the fx loop with y cable might solve my problems
