I'm looking for suggestions on how to make it weirder sounding -and- how to keep it sounding -clear-. It sounds unusual now by -some- standards, but it needs to have some more -dance- cred so I'm looking for suggestions on how to make it sound...er... well more 'deck' and less <insert current term for 'not good' here>.

If it's totally squaresville by today's standards, that's OK. I can take it.

1) I think the drums need a more punchy and \"glued together\" sound if you want to make it sound like a modern-dance-and-whatever-else track of today. Some more punchy bass as well. I also think that the way the kick is played and sounds leads more to a prog-rock thing, not dance oriented.

2) The arrangement sounds weird already. However, the piano and the nylon-string guitar playing (@ ~1:30) sound a bit sloppy to me. In general, I feel the arrangement should sound more thick.

I like the song and your singing, BTW.

Thanks for listening!

Well, I'm kind of a 'prog' guy so I guess your comments make sense.

I'll think about the guitar. It may not sound it, but it's really quite a difficult little thing to play on an acoustic guitar with 'metal' precision.

Cheers,
