PCI express sound card?

With the imminent release of PCI-express DSP cards from UAD and TC Electronic, and the fact that PCI-e graphics cards have been around for years, what about sound cards?

Are there any PCI-e sound cards reaching the market yet? Have big names like RME announced plans to develop PCI-e sound cards?

I'm not interested in going the Firewire (or USB) audio interface route before anyone suggests it ;)
