please can you give me advice about buying old uad1 card with some extra plugins. Its a few years old and at that time uad1 was not branded as project, studio or ultra pack.Is the quality the same, compability with todays new software and plug ins,and how long uad1 card can last, in your opinion. Is there any vulnerable point i have to pay attention.
thanks

The only difference between the older & new physical cards is the newer ones have larger heatsinks that help when multiple cards are used. The older cards come with the same plug-ins as Project Paks with the addition of the 1176LN plug-in.

Is LA-2A included in the Project Pak? I don't think so. :?

Woah, I've got to pay attention! I guess the Project Pak isn't good for much more than an expander any more.

If it's a Mackie card, then the LA2A, 1176, Cambridge, Dreamverb & Pultec Pro may well also be included.

Check with the seller - ask him to do a screenshot of the Authorizations Window in the Meter.
That will show you exactly what plugins are authorized to that card.

I could download it for free after registering my Project Pak.
Yes, but that was a while ago; now this offer has been replaced by the 'Phat 50' offer.
