I would love to use the Katz metering from the PL without having to send audio threw the UAD (which totally wastes DSP and CPU).

Would anyone else here like UA to release a native version of the meter section on the Precision Limiter?

That's the problem though when a plug-in is bypass mode it's still active in memory. Whether it's in use or not, the DSP power will be still allocated however it shouldn't use much as CPU headroom.

I'm using Inspector XL(EAS ver) and it has k-meter.
I know now RND owned. That's sad. If you don't care about it, try RND ver.

can't check now, but a bypassed plug (bypassed on the plug itself) still uses a third or so of it's original uad-cpu power. Might be less with heavy cpu plugs, but at least it still uses up recources.

No, it's not a memory thing at all. The problem is that it passes audio to and from the card, which is using the PCI buss (which uses both DSP and CPU resources).
