Plugin Settings from Windows to OSX

Hello,
I would like to copy some presets from my Windows PC to my G5 running both VST and Audio Unit UAD-1 plugins.
I downloaded the presets and discovered the PC side has some presets the OSX side doesn't. Like the Precision Multiband. Presets come up on my PC, but no Presets in any of the VST/Audio Units on OSX.
Do I have to save in a special way?
Is there a resource for settings created by users?
