Pop and clicks with logic pro 7.1

hi,
i've just bought an uad1 poject pack with a free la2a plug.
i have a g5 2*1.8 with 2g ram
a presonus firepod card
and logic pro7.1.

i've tried many configuration but still have pb with pop and clics in playback and also while bouncing a project.
can anywone help?

In "Audio Hardware and Drivers" what buffer size have you set? You may have it set lower than the Firepod's driver can handle well.
