Pops in Cubase SL 3.0

Could someone point me as to where to look for a solution to pops only after mixing to 2 track mixdown. I only encounter this problem when using UA Plugins as inserts on channels.

Windows XP
Pent DUal Core 3.2 CPU
2 Meg
Cubase SL 3.0
