Powerbook Magma CB2S and UAD

Hi all,

I have the last Powerbook from Apple G4 1,67 2 Gig Ram Metric Halo sound card with DP 4.6.1 and a UAD in a CB2S Magma, all new.
All work fine without using the UAD plugs, DP freeze when I load any UAD plug and I must restart my computer.
Is there any experience and/or advice to use all my beautifull gear ?

Did you ever get this working. Have the same setup and get the freezing in Digital Performer.

Hmm... have you tried with Cubase SX 3 instead of DP?

Things are getting a little better. I took out the scsi card out of the chassis as suggested by magma technical support. I replaced the 1.5 meter cable with a 1 meter cable which also helped. I had fewer freezes then. I finally changed the 5400 rpm drive with a 7200 rpm drive which has also help to stabilize things a great deal. I may still get the occasional freeze up but things are considerably more stable. Will keep all posted but I am starting to really enjoy this setup.
