Precision Multiband problems

Hello !

Im having really weird issue with the Precision Multiband.

It seems to work allright if I use it with EQ mode but if I

use it with Dyn EQ mode that is used to be allmost in all factorypresets

default option its starting to snap, craccle and pop.

I think its really annoying. Its doing it even if I use only 1

plugin in project thats PM. But immediately when put to EQ mode the

problem disappears. I dont know is it essential for anything to use Dyn

EQ mode, but would still like to find the solution for it..

Anyone had the same problem ?

Is there any solution for fixing this ???

Thank you !

I don't have this problem here. Possibly increasing the buffer size of your audio hardware could be a solution?!? When mixing (PMB's big latency make me consider it as mix-only tool anyway) I run my DAW @ 1024 samples and it works fine.
That's just an idea, dunno if increasing buffer really can help you.

Dynamics's shows graphically what is happening to the audio. The 5 meters at the side show the attenuation of each band setting. Dynamic display really just gives you indication of what is happening to the sound image although strictly speaking it isn't part of the sound process.

The thing which does affect the mix is whether you choose Min or Linear for your processing options. Min isn't as intensive as Linear (Phase Linear) rendering which almost ensures an edit with no phase change due to the change in dynamics.

Something like that anyway.

Changing to 1024 samples (23ms @ 44.1Khz) should solve the problem.
