Presets invalid

Hi, just installed my new uad-1 and after 10 mins of messing around - i know it's going to be just what i needed! Problem is, none of the presets work :| ...Copied the AU presets folder from the CD into what seems to be the default folder but when i try and load one it just gives me an error message saying invalid file...I'm using Logic Pro 7 btw..Can anyone help? Thanks in advance, Jay

make sure you put the presets folder in library/audio/presets. then you can access them from the pull down at the top of the plugin window (not the one at the bottom.) we had this same problem until we realized the presets were in the wrong place.
