Printing A Click Track & The Recorded Track

So I'm a little confused, I've seen a few forum posts but what I'm seeing simply doesn't match with the advice thats being given and I'm a little confused... So this might be a simple fix.

In Pro Tools sometimes I would (importantly) bounce a scratch track of say an acoustic guitar WITH the click track so the band can rehearse to it and get comfortable with it.

I can't seem to work out how to do it in LUNA?

Now in Pro Tools Its pretty simple.
All tracks (or busses) coming out analog 1-2
Click Track > Output > Analog 1-2
Master Bus > Ouput > Analog 1-2

Then File > Bounce Mix
A mix is bounced with everything including the master bus and the Click

If I do a Mixdown in Luna and Set the Sources to MAIN the click is absent.
If I go into Sources I can't select a CUE as a Source (Which would allow me to Sent the clue to CUE 1)
So I cant see a way in Mixdown to achieve this

Another way around it is I would create a bus and send everything to that and then send that to an audio track
However I cant set my track "Input" to a bus for some reason?

Ok so If I then go to "MAIN" and create a send to a spare set of outputs I have on my MOTU say Output (Analog 31-32)
And then those outputs loop back on themselves IE to my patch bay and are then patched into Input (Analog 31-32)
Guess what... I can see the track! Its coming back through to the Audio track.... but the clicks missing.

Help me Obi Wan Kenobis, you're my only hopes.
There must be an easy way to bounce the track + the click at the same time?

I think you can select Luna's own click and send it to different outputs (main?).
I hardly ever use Luna's own click. Yeah you can use Shape. I have NI Maschine permanently installed in my default session.
I can add or take away click elements (wood block, shaker). With Maschine you can select the audio icon and drag and drop your click groove onto a Luna audio track. I always do that. So I can have a count in click, then a full click and it isn't just playing the whole session, just during the song.
This would apply to Shape too.

I think there’s a way to send the (Luna) click to an aux and record it - ?

yeah, there is, but it's not a great experience.

You create a track, mute it, rec enable it, and set its input to Mon L or R, and hit record.

I do this for just a few seconds, then nudge it into time since it's not delay comped (doesn't need to be when used regularly), and then use Command D to populate the rest of the song.

Right.
Now I remember why I don’t do it😉😆.
Thank you!

Yup!!! I only do when clients specifically ask for something with an embedded click to practice to.
I'm not trying to crap on the product at all, As I'm literally about to drop money on Luna Pro and Neve Summing If I can afford both.
(Any Chance of a discount, It went up in price since the Trial I took! Got some recording projects over the next three weeks that would benefit massively. I emailed last week to no response.)

But this should be something I think UA should look into implementing. I'm not sure how complex it is on the back end but from a users perspective its a very easy thing to achieve in pro tools etc and I use it... all the time.

LUNA Pro is $199 again now.

Be sure to submit Feedback inside LUNA.

Excellent!!!! Thanks for the support!!
Drew, Heads up
Trying to purchase the Neve Summing Addition for Luna as its Priced at £149 at the moment.
Click add to cart and it forwards me to a page that says (At the top) "You Need an Apollo or a Satellite to use this product"
and marks my cart as empty....

Am I wrong? I thought this was a Luna plugin, I'm sure I trialled it a few weeks ago without any hardware?

I've tried two browsers in both normal and Private mode and tried my mobile phone.
They all do the same thing!

You do need to own UAD hardware to buy this, it's a quirk of its licensing.

Thats so strange... I can trial it without UA Hardware and use it on mixes but once the trial expires I need to buy UA Hardware to renew the license?
Argh, Thats such a massive let down! Thats an odd licensing quirk.

@def_engineer, the Luna Pro bundle comes with the API Summing extension. You should give that a try, you might like it.

I don't own the Neve Summing extension but when I did the demo, to my ears, the difference between the Neve and the API was very subtle.

I've been using the API heavily for a few months now and I haven't had the urge to spend the extra $$$ to get the Neve. Might be worth giving it a try to see if you feel the same...

Indeed it is, but it's unfortunately reality right now.

I will do.
I can't really afford to buy an Apollo or Satellite right now, the studio can barely keep the lights on!
Thats a licensing quirk they need to remove it cant be dependant on the hardware as it works without it its purely a variable on the license itself. I wonder why!

Thanks for the input, I'll let you know how we get on!

the built in click is great, but two things keep me from using it most of the time.

1. not being able to print it to a track.

2. not being able to pan the click in the cue sends.

it would be really cool if somehow the internal click could just be routed to a separate track or buss and then both problems would be solved.
